This CD marks the first time in history that all eight of Quantz's Cappricios have been recorded and featured in one CD! I chose to record these because I was thrilled at the narrative opportunity presented with this music. Being both unaccompanied and unrecorded, this truly felt like uncharted territory. Having spent a lot of time with my cats I decided to use their many adventures as an inspiration for this CD!

This is Chirpa! She is Purrtrude's mother. She never tires of being adored and whenever I sit down or grab a blanket she immediately appears! She isn't the fondest of strangers but when she feels safe around you she never leaves your side!

This is Purrtrude. She is the daughter of Chirpa. She is a very affectionate and vocal cat. She often will talk to me and follow me and has a real talent for coming to cuddle right as I am about to get up from the couch! |
